It is an honour to serve as President of the Indian Medical Association, Bhavnagar Branch, for 2026–27. I am grateful for your trust and committed to working with every member for the progress of our association.
Our vision for IMA Bhavnagar 2.0 is a more connected, participative and responsive association, where every member feels heard, supported and encouraged to contribute. Building on the work of our past presidents and senior colleagues, we will bring together experience, fresh ideas and shared purpose.
This year, our priorities include continuing medical education, practical workshops and professional development. Through Hospital Board initiatives, we aim to support members in quality improvement, accreditation and the challenges of healthcare practice.
Doctors’ well-being and fellowship are equally important. Sports, cultural activities and family gatherings will strengthen the bonds within our medical fraternity. Public awareness programmes will extend our commitment to health education and community service.
With better digital communication and transparent administration, we will make IMA Bhavnagar more accessible and accountable to its members.
I invite every colleague to share ideas and participate actively. Together, we can build a stronger professional voice, a dependable support system for doctors and a healthier community.
